Understanding Autism Levels, What they mean, and what they don’t.
Families often hear terms like “Level 1,” “Level 2,” or “Level 3” after an autism diagnosis, yet these labels can feel confusing, limiting, or even frustrating. This talk will explain why autism levels were created, what they intend to communicate and why they do not define a child’s abilities, future, or identity.
