Our new 18,000 sq. ft. outpatient center is designed with families in mind and offers access to a growing range of pediatric specialists in one convenient location.
Specialty care at Children’s Mercy in Wichita
We offer a mix of full-time, expanding and rotating specialty services to bring expert care closer to home for Wichita families.
Full-time specialties (available now)
These services are offered on-site with providers based in Wichita, with telemedicine options available for select visits:
- Cardiology
- Endocrinology
Starting soon
We are continuing to expand services to meet the needs of the community:
- Rheumatology — beginning July 20
- Psychology — beginning September
Both in-person and telemedicine options will be available for select visits as these services launch.

Additional specialty clinics (rotating/outreach services)
These specialties are available through regularly scheduled outreach clinics. Providers travel to Wichita for in-person visits, with telemedicine often used for follow-up care when appropriate:

- Hepatology
- Neurosurgery
- Nephrology
- Urology

Telemedicine options
Many specialties offer telemedicine appointments for follow-up care or select visits. At our Wichita clinic, telemedicine visits are facilitated by our care team to connect you with Children’s Mercy specialists when in-person care is not needed.
