In April 2025, Children’s Mercy Kansas City announced a $152 million expansion plan for Children’s Mercy Kansas in Overland Park, Kan. The four-year project will enhance patient care, introduce new clinical programs and give more families access to world-class care — closer to home.

Know before you go
We will continue to care for kids and families in our community during construction.
The Tom Watson Emergency Center, 5805 W. 110th Street, is open and will stay open through the entire project.
If you’re going to the Emergency Room, please park in Lot E or F and enter through the entrance labeled Emergency.
For Children’s Mercy Kansas clinic appointments and the main hospital, park in Lot A or B and enter through the main entrance.
