Highlights of the Kidney Transplant Program

• Surveillance transplant biopsies conducted at 6 months, 1 year, and 2 years post-transplant.
• Epitope Matching conducted to permit donor/recipient matching at more detailed level than only using HLA.
• KidDose® pharmacogenetic testing used to individualize immunosuppressive medication dosing. By understanding how a patient responds to medication, immunosuppression can be optimized to support long-term graft health and overall patient wellbeing.
• Transition program based on a multidisciplinary curriculum and a coordinated effort between pediatric and adult transplant teams.
