About the Study

Blood Glucose: A study on healthy infants and their development

This study is for: • Infants who are 1-3 months old • Participants much be able to wear a continuous glucose monitor for at least four days on their outer thigh • Be able to be a part of this study for 10 months, which is the full length of the study Participants and their family must be willing to come to the Baby Health Behavior Lab at Children's Mercy for a total of 4 visits and allow staff to briefly come to their home for 3 visits. The continuous glucose monitor will track changes in blood glucose levels. Participants will also be asked to complete a record of their infant's diet for 4 days. The purpose of this research study is to learn how the different ways babies are fed affects their development.
